Do you remember little Someone?

The majority of the chimpanzees at Tacugama are orphans, but Someone is one of the lucky ones to grow up with his own mum, Somebody, at the centre.

Someone is now a two year old boy and he has a good friend in Rasta. They both stay very close to their mums but they also spend a lot of time together.

You can become the guardian of Someone and his mum Somebody!

Wildlife photography can be very valuable to raise awareness of precious wildlife species and stimulate enthusiasm among viewers to save unique species and their habitats.

This week Renato Granieri received a Honourable Mention at the Siena Awards wirh this photo of Nelio.

Congratulations Renato and thank you for the attention for our sanctuary and our conservation projects!

We are one step closer to having a launch date for our new project co-managing the protection of Outamba Kilimi K PS, in collaboration with #wildchimpanzeefoundation.

Thanks to this project, Tacugama is now involved in protecting 3 out of Sierra Leone’s 4 National Parks!
