🌿 Cal est le plus jeune des trois derniers bébés chimpanzés sauvés dernièrement. Malheureusement, son début de vie n’a pas été doux et aimant. Alors qu’à cet âge-là, les bébés chimpanzés sont normalement accrochés au ventre de leur maman, Cal était détenue attaché à un arbre.

Cette expérience traumatisante a laissé des cicatrices profondes chez Cal. Il est devenu sensible et fragile mentalement, se repliant sur lui-même dans un monde d’angoisse et de peur. Mais la vie lui a réservé une chance inespérée lorsqu’il a été secouru et placé à J.A.C.K.

C’est là qu’il a rencontré Linda, Mpo, les deux autres bébés chimpanzés sauvés, et Bénito, son papa de substitution. Ensemble, ils ont formé une petite famille solidaire. Il sait qu’il peut compter sur eux pour l’accompagner dans chaque étape de son parcours. Ils sont ses piliers, sa source d’inspiration et son soutien inconditionnel.

🌿 Cal is the youngest of the last three chimpanzee babies rescued recently. Unfortunately, his start in life has not been gentle and loving. While chimpanzee babies at this age are normally clinging to their mom’s belly, Cal was being held tied to a tree.
This traumatic experience left deep scars in Cal, who became sensitive and mentally fragile, withdrawing into himself in a world of anxiety and fear. But life dealt him an unexpected blow when he was rescued and placed at J.A.C.K..

There he met Linda, Mpo, the two other rescued baby chimpanzees, and Bénito, his surrogate dad. Together, they have formed a close-knit family. He knows he can count on them to support him every step of the way. They are his pillars, his source of inspiration and his unconditional support.
